Wow, I am completely overwhelmed and honoured. My image from Nugget Point in the Catlins has been awarded Champion image in the 2017 Laurie Thomas New Zealand National Landscape Competition! Over 640 entries were received and I feel very flattered that this image stood out among such a high quality field.
The competition has been running for 21 years as a lasting memory of Laurie Thomas, a member of the Christchurch Photographic Society and early pioneer of the Photographic Society of NZ and keen landscape photographer. I am very humbled to join the ranks of previous winners of this competition.
